Hi, I'm Kate.
I'm the person behind Whole Earth Balance.
I love taking information that feels messy, scattered or overwhelming and turning it into something clear and manageable.
That naturally led me toward bookkeeping.
I'm currently completing my Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and working toward BAS agent registration with the Tax Practitioners Board, while gaining supervised practical experience alongside a registered BAS agent.
I'm particularly interested in supporting small businesses and developing specialist knowledge in allied-health bookkeeping.
Whole Earth Balance is built around a fairly simple idea:
You should be able to understand what is happening in your business without feeling buried by the administration required to run it.
My role is to help make that easier.

As an independent contractor through Whole Earth Balance, I do not offer BAS services that require registration.
I'm happy to explain what I can and cannot assist with before we begin, so there are no grey areas or surprises.

Are you a registered BAS agent?
Not yet.
I'm currently completing my Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and gaining practical experience as I work toward BAS agent registration with the Tax Practitioners Board.
As an independent contractor through Whole Earth Balance, I do not offer BAS services that require registration.
Different rules can apply when bookkeeping work is performed as an employee within a business, rather than as an independent contractor. If you're looking for employed bookkeeping support, I'm happy to discuss what that arrangement could include.Do I need to have my books organised before contacting you?
Absolutely not.
If everything were already perfectly organised, you might not need me.
We can start with where things are now and work forward from there.Do you only work with allied-health businesses?
No.
Whole Earth Balance supports small businesses more broadly, while allied health is an area in which I'm developing particular knowledge and experience.Can you help if I've fallen behind?
Yes.
Bookkeeping catch-up and tidy-up work can be approached gradually and systematically. We'll work out what's outstanding, what matters most and the most practical way to bring things back under control.Can you work with my accountant?
